Thinking of coming to study in Newcastle? Well, I took the plunge and I certainly do not regret my decision to do so. Newcastle University is placed 12th in the Guardian University Guide, moving up 8 places from last year's rankings.
The universityalso has the highest proportion of graduate-levels jobs at 82.6% and a graduate employment rate of 94.5% the highest among North-East universities. this means your chances of getting a job after graduation is great.

Phew! finally am in Newcastle, on several ocassions, I thought this day would never come. The preparation in Nigeria where am from almost drove me insane: getting my documents together for the admission process, transcripts, passport, visa etc. and above all money!.
Settling in wasnt as difficult as i anticipated, the induction week was great and lots of information was given concerning who to meet when you are stuck or have an enquiry.

I cant complain about the university's acccomodation; I get my own room and a great flatmate! I take the metro to uni every morning; the metro is a stone throw from the accomodation which makes life easy. it takes me 5 minutes to get to uni every morning. the cost is also manageable. the food and shopping is quite affording- lots of big brand shops available. in a nutshell, its life made easy.
